Come and Sing music for Royal Occasions, Guildford 2023

choral WORKSHOPS

Workshops are tailored to a broad variety of choirs and organisations with specific requirements.

My workshops cover a diverse range of musical styles, from Baroque through to Contemporary, including fun and engaging warm ups, rounds and choral 'games'. I have a particular passion for world music, particularly of the African diaspora, but whatever your requirements, I would be delighted to discuss workshop opportunities with you.

I lead an annual singing holiday at Antico Borgo La Torre in Tuscany, Italy, for all those who love to sing. To find out much more about this fantastic opportunity, click here:

I have only good things to say about our singing week in Tuscany; style, pace and quality of teaching were great and I really enjoyed all the music we sang.

Thank you for your warmth, patience and skillful guidance throughout!

Following the success of the inaugural vocal retreat at Benslow Music in Hertfordshire, UK, this May, you can join me again next year 7-9 May 2027. This singing opportunity is for all upper voice singers curious to learn little known repertoire predominantly by female composers. For more information, click here:

european CLINICS

I have presented choral clinics at the Leading Voices Festival (Utrecht), Chor.com (Hannover) and Symposium Junge Stimmen (Berlin). Topics range from sessions focusing on female composers, training at university level and kinaesthetic gestures for choral leaders. Feel free to get in touch to find out more about these presentations and what I can offer.

It was such a pleasure and enrichment to have you with us, because you connected the topics of the symposium in a very special way and brought them into concrete choral pedagogical practice. And you did this in such a friendly, approachable, inspiring way and with such likeable yet professional expertise.
— Gudrun Luise Gierszal, Artistic Director, Junge Stimmen Symposium, Berlin
