Pianist

Amy began playing the piano at the age of eight, and gained all ABRSM piano grades and ALCM diploma by the age of seventeen. In 1996, she graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Piano Performance and gained a Masters Degree in the same discipline the following year.

Accompanist: Imogen Garner, Harriet Goodwin (mezzo sopranos). Appearances include Chester Music Festival, Buxton Festival and Sowerby Music Festival amongst many others. Amy has also worked as accompanist to several choirs and festivals, including:

Teacher: Wellington College and Cranleigh School: part time piano tutor. Also private tuition from home. Amy's students have had successes in competitive festivals and ABRSM examinations (winning the Bessie Brearley prize for the highest Grade 8 mark, for example). She teaches classical piano from beginner to advanced levels.
